I know what you´re thinking, two posts in a day, what?! I know, I know. I haven´t been too good at posting lately. Things have just been so busy. Therefore, I thought I´d share some of what I´ve done this time. Thus I give you my two Brewer´s Cup presentations, I got to the finals (yay!) but only made 6th place unfortunately. (Hey you gotta start somewhere) I did however doit all in English just for you guys. Enjoy!

A couple of weeks ago, we received a distinction in the prestigious Årets Vakrest Bøker (The Most Beautiful Books of the Year). It is a huge honor, and I would like to send out a thanks to everybody that has had a part in this. Thanks!

Although as a result of a late confirmation my name is not on the flyer, I will have work exhibited in London at 18 Hewett street as part of DunneFrankowski´s One year birthday bash, the 7th of December. To all who may have crossed our paths this year, whether it was over a cup of coffee, a beer or more than likely a cocktail, we are hitting our one your anniversary. Thats right, we are turning ONE YEAR OLD. In baby terms we have just started crawling, we have learnt so much in such a short space of time. We are looking forward to the future when we learn how to walk, then run and possibly jump. What we are trying to say is that, this is just the beginning, we are looking forward to a vibrant, creative future.

This show shall celebrate a year in the life of our tiny coffee bar based in Shoreditch at 18 Hewett Street. Over the past year we have tasted up to 300 different coffees, what started out as an OCD idea to collect every single coffee bag consumed in order to creative a visual map of the coffee belt has escalated into so much more. Coupled with the information provided by our coffee counting visualisation, we have created endless fun facts regarding our coffee consumption trends. From the total volume of coffees made, milk used, caffeine extracted and even distance travelled in the serving of these beverages. We have asked our artistic friends and associates to visualise this information in a fun abstract poster format which will be presented for your eyes only.

A special thanks to Bruno Vincent for all his amazing efforts, support, ideas, friendship and finally the curation of this event.

All welcome to join us over a beverage next Friday the 7th of December.

Beer Labels

As you probably know, I am big on beer. Here I want to share with you some labels I recently made for some homebrewing friends of mine.

This is a label for a heavily hopped belgian brown- style Ale.

And this is a general label to be used for several different brews.

As part of Kaffikaze, I recently did a Pop-up brew bar at Torpfestivalen (27th -29th of July 2012), an indie music festival just outside of Oslo, Norway. For this event we collaborated with Kalita, using their Wave Style drippers, and Solberg & Hansen’s magnificent coffees. Good times and great coffees were had! Music on this video: Shigeto - And We Gonna (Samiyam Chopsticks Remix) Thanks to S&H, Kalita and Torpfestivalen for making this happen.

A-Z Coffee Oslo book- launch

This friday, a double whammy! All day coffee/ booklaunch BONANZA! Part one, starting out 12.00 at Hunting Lodge and running until the Store´s closing time (18.00); A pop up coffeeshop/ brewbar courtesy of none other than Solberg & Hansen. Awesome coffee treats completley free of charge! Then part 2 starting just about 45 minutes Later at swanky Fuglen (AKA: The Bird), A cupping and a musical performance of none other then our very own pop-star Leif of Leif And The Future fame. And then of course cocktails (of the most amazing kind) into the night.
