This is Norway; summary
I hope you´ll excuse us for the delay since the event, posting this.

Here´s a little introduction for those of you not already in the know:
Thursday, the 12th of January illustration and coffee teamed up with DunneFrankowski to bring you “This is Norway”, a cup tasting of 14 different coffees from 4 different roasteries out of Oslo, Norway.
One of the reasons for wanting to put on this event was to further our knowledge of coffee, roast in particular, in the respect of the constantly evolving coffee scene. In my personal opinion, London seems to be most progressive place for coffee and coffee culture at the moment. A stream of new shops keep opening, some challenging our conceptions of coffee shops and of coffee culture. One of the most recent is Protein by DunneFrankowski.

The London coffee scene in general has a thick antipodean influence. While this may be good for cafés as communal places and their ubiquitous flat whites , it is not necessarily as much for the roasting of coffee. However, most recently, there has been a spiring up of black, brewed coffee, highlighting the natural flavors and aromas inherent in the produce. Oslo, is perhaps the city with the most developed culture for brewed coffee, and the roast barely noticeable, playing on the notes of the fruit that is coffee.

Participating Roasteries were:
-Kaffa
-Tim Wendelboe
-Solberg & Hansen
-Supreme RoastWorks
Which we would all like to give our biggest thanks for the coffee, this wouldn´t have been possible without you.

New Work
I am duly sorry for not having posted in a little while now, reason being I have been loaded with work. Here I bring you some of my most recent work, which I am to submit for a competition by a certain publisher. hint: flightless bird.
These are all done by colored pencil on tracing paper, you can probably read what the illustrations are for when you read the type on the cigarette pack.
I hope you like it, I was going for a late 1950´s since that is when the book was written.
