Taste Festival
So tomorrow is the Opening of the Taste Festival in Berlin.

http://www.direktorenhaus.com/blog/taste-festival.html

This is its first year, and I am happy to announce that I will be taking part in it, Exhibiting and talking about my A-Z Coffee Book. http://www.direktorenhaus.com/blog/taste/program/lars-k-huse.html

The festival has a cracking lineup and I am honored to be exhibiting alongside such an array of fine designers, artists and foodies. The dy by day event/ workshop program can be found here: http://www.direktorenhaus.com/blog/taste-festival/time-line.html

I will be there personally on the 5th and 6th (holding a workshop/cupping), drop by and say hello.

Self-Promotional coffee-kit.
So I made this little kit, a couple of weeks ago to send out as a little treat for some lucky people.
The Kit consisted of:
• 1x Kalitta Kantan single- use drip coffee maker.
• 10g of Preground, freshly roasted coffee (Bolivian from Has Bean)
• instructions.

A big thanks to Bruno Vincent for directing this short video of unwrapping.

Crop to Cup.
Things have been real busy around here lately, but I managed however to update/ add another project to my portfolio. it´s a series of 7 images exploring terrioir, cultivation, harvesting, processing, shipping, roasting and enjoymen of a single, traceable coffee.

I´d consider this as a continual development, or perhaps a prequel to the exhibition I had a couple of years back of which explored the social context. anyway, here it is: http://www.behance.net/gallery/Crop-to-Cup/3920019

Every day objects.
The things we use every day should in reality be the most special. They should be pieces of great design. (typing this on my apple Macbook pro and I´m sure most of you will read this on yours.) No less. Here is my rendition of a classical piece of Scandinavian Design.

The object in question is of course the Cathrineholm kettle.
